Do One Thing: 5-minute Plank

This month I’m challenging you to do one thing every day. It doesn’t seem like much if you look at it on a daily basis, but a continued focus on doing one thing will lead to amazing results.

You are going to want to kill me.  But if do this workout, after 21 days of doing it every day – you’ll love the results.

5 minute plank workout easy – will take 10 minutes total – repeat workout 10 times.  It’s OK to take a break between reps.  Work up to what you can do.

  • :15 elbow plank
  • :15 rest
  • :15 side plank left
  • :15 rest
  • :15 elbow plank
  • :15 rest
  • :15 side plank right
  • :15 rest

5 minute plank workout advanced – will take 5.5 minutes total. Don’t give up because your mind says you’re tired.  You’re stronger than you think.

You will have to work up to doing an intense plank workout.  This isn’t easy, but it’s an extremely effective workout plan that takes minimal time. I try to do plank exercises during the commercials of my favorite TV shows or I play a 2 of my favorite songs to distract me while I’m doing the exercises.  It will take you about 3 weeks to really feel a difference.  Once it starts to feel easier, you’ll need to adjust your timing or the difficulty level of the exercises – remember, you want a good workout!

Bonus! I love doing this exercise in the winter.  I’m always cold and this warms me up in 30 seconds flat.
